How many DAYS do you have to LIVE? Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert



Victor frankl once said that,” Even more people today have the means to live, but not the meaning to life.” To attain your meaning in life, you need to attain your purpose. Purpose is the home within you, where your talent values and spirit reside.  All there awaiting for you to come home. The issue is;  you have become so so busy to recognise it. Take the leap from today forth; never allow your work or career shadow what you have within you.
Have you ever asked yourself what happens to a person without life purpose, it is like sailing without a campus or set of the sail. How will you know you are lost or even gotten to your destination? I recently come across studies done by msn.com, to my surprise they found out that the most searched word on internet is the word “purpose” if you still doubt ask Rick Warren the best known pastor on the planet 

His book “The purpose driven life.”  has sold  over 30 million copies and been translated in 86 languages worldwide. It was also on the New York Times Bestsellers list  for over 90 weeks. 
The real surprise was when Oprah Winfrey recommended a copy of Eckhart Tolles, book; "A new Earth; Awakening to your life purpose," during her show, the book sold over 3.5 million copies thereafter  in less than a month. 

In effect people are thirsty to live a purposeful life, they are searching because without purpose “nothing” happens, you are not impactful, you are depressed, you live in fear, anxious of what tomorrow will be. The purpose of your life is in your WHY behind your WHAT you do. The key is in  discovering Gods intention for you.
We are a tiny thing in accordance to Gods purpose, just imagine yourself going to the ocean with a cup in your hands and fetching ocean water from it. As you stand on the ocean shores holding your cup full of ocean water fetched from the ocean.

The water in the cup is from the ocean but not the ocean because the ocean is too large to fit in your cup. So what you hold in your cup is a tinny drop of the oceans vastness. The same relationship applies with God and us. All of God( the ocean ) cannot be contained in us, body which is ( the cup) therefore a seed is harboured within us(the drop- water in the cup) as Gods representatives. Matter of fact it is who you become as a result of the experience and not the experience itself, that is most valuable. 

You may not like the situation you are going through today;  the challenges of interacting with your beloved ones and families, life has become difficult to survive;  with limited capital, food, no shelter, no medical supplies and money to pay their mortgage’s or the  landlords.  Nevertheless, I want to remind you that no matter what is coming your way, embrace the process because it is out of the process that you become.  Who told you it’s going to be easy. Truth of the matter, get ready to rejoice and sing a new song of praise and worship after you have become, as Oliver Wendell Holmes said,” what lies behind you and what lies ahead of you are tiny matters compared to what lies within you.”     You cannot tell a story better than the one who experienced it. Get ready to tell yours. One of my business pattern in (Elevators Group ltd) Mr. Eddy Robert normally reminds us to fall in love with the process of  the thing even though we do not love the thing itself. 

Once there lived a great leader of a major monastery in china. He was famous for his purposeful teaching about life. He never used complicated theories and concepts to pass on his message or teaching, but rather, he demonstrated his purposeful life through sweeping the stair cases  of the monastery with all his being and all he had. To an extent that people would come to the monastery asking for the leader and the sweeper, they were eager to know the person that swept so clean and spotless the stair cases of the monastery. Whenever they asked him, he would say to them, “the teacher is teaching now” most of the aspirants searched for something “external” the teacher, missing the whole meaning and teaching about how the sweeper approached his life. 
Therefore, purpose is not only how you show up but also how you engage yourself in that pursuit of which you have discovered as a duty, responsibility, and your calling to service that which is often larger than you and pushing you to become. Never confuse you purpose with your goal. Your purpose is bigger and deeper compared to your goal. Am sure you have heard someone say or you have said someone is “extraordinary” that term has echoed in your ears because you have though that they were born to do this and do that as if that thing they did was or is there only goal, and only reason for being. However, what then happens if they lose it all, or when their career ends. Should we say that the person no longer has a purpose?  One thing I know is that purpose is the flow of life through us and serves all in touch. Nonetheless how it manifest through each one, highly depends on your ability, (what kind of cup are you using to draw from the ocean?) open and use according to each circumstance being faced at a certain time or moment. 
Your purpose is often constant but the manifestation of that purpose is one that changes. The higher your sense of purpose the greater the opportunities that come your way.


 Fredrick Nietzches said, “Man can face anything, only when he has a big WHY.” It is through your why that you get loose yourself manifesting the service of external goals. Pablo Cello in his book the Alchemist said, “Whenever you start working on your purpose, the whole world comes to help you achieve.” It is through the world’s connectivity that your purpose is obtained. Your strong vision directs you to allot time effectively, making the right choices and decisions that later result into life abundance. 

In pursuit of your purpose, ask yourself, how much time do I have?  We all have finite time, but the difference is in how we utilize that time. As yourself how many days you have to live? It is important, you start thinking about it or even go an extra mile and try to calculate, use any number you like. In case, you come up with the answer, ask yourself what you need to start on doing now, go further and think of the strategies on how you are going to lead and live those day. In effect knowing that you are a representative of the most High God, your one external goal should be to co-create just like He is, although death is a guarantee for everyone, the issue you should be answering is, what can I create that will live after I am dead? 
Keep in mind, “you are not human beings having a spiritual experience, you are a spiritual being having a human experience” Teithard Chardin. Start making the depth of your life using the seed in you right now! and ignore the length. For no one knows the time. However, what you live behind will stand the test of time. Your purpose is spiritual seeking that allows you to see over your life more clearly from the inside out.  Be blessed as we live to fulfill our purposes and affect the world.
